Role Definition: The Senior Interior Designer is responsible for understanding client requirements and designing functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces, but also for leading and mentoring a team of junior designers and overseeing project execution. The Senior Interior Designer will be the primary point of contact for the client throughout the entire design and project execution lifecycle, from initial consultation to project completion. Creative and smart enough to solve any design issues.

1. Client Management
A) Initial Consultation & Needs Assessment:
Conducting initial meetings to understand the client's vision, needs, and project requirements.
Actively listening to the client's desires and concerns, asking clarifying questions to gain a comprehensive understanding of their expectations.
Analyzing the client's existing space, taking measurements, and assessing any potential design challenges.
B) Conceptual Design & Presentations:
Developing initial design concepts and presenting them to the client through mood boards, sketches, and 3D visualizations.
Effectively communicating design ideas and rationale, addressing client questions and feedback.
Revising designs based on client input and ensuring alignment with their vision and preferences.
C) Design Development & Approvals:
Presenting the finalized design to the client for approval, explaining all design choices and materials.
Obtaining client sign-off on the design before proceeding to the execution phase.
Maintaining regular communication with the client throughout the project execution phase, providing updates on progress and addressing any concerns.
Scheduling site visits with the client to review the progress of the work and ensure adherence to the design.
Managing client expectations and addressing any changes or modifications requested during the execution phase.
Conducting a final walkthrough with the client upon project completion to ensure their satisfaction.
Addressing any outstanding issues or concerns and ensuring a smooth handover of the completed project.
Maintaining a positive and professional relationship with the client even after project completion.
2. Team & Design Management
Leading and mentoring a team of junior designers, providing guidance, feedback, and support in their professional development.
Delegating tasks effectively and ensuring the team's workload is balanced and aligned with project deadlines.
Conducting regular performance reviews and identifying training needs for team members.
Creating detailed design drawings and specifications for all aspects of the project, including furniture, finishes, and MEP.
Assign tasks to junior designers based on their skills and project requirements.

3. Project Management
Supervising the work of project execution teams, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
Resolving on-site design challenges and coordinating with contractors and vendors.
Managing project timelines and budgets in collaboration with the project management team.
Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and address any design-related issues.
Collaborate with project managers to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget.
