Wherever we are doing false ceiling and the entire ceiling is closed with gypsum or POP, we must provide trapdoors at appropriate locations. This is essential to allow access to the space above the false ceiling — whether for periodic inspection, maintenance, or in case of an emergency. For example, if a mouse or any other pest gets trapped and dies above the ceiling, we should have a way to access the area without having to break open the gypsum ceiling. Please ensure this is incorporated wherever we have a fully closed gypsum or POP false ceiling.
