Always use Gyproc shadow angle at the junction of dissimilar material of dry wall & gypsum ceiling.
Never allow V-groove gypsum board joint at ceiling. Also use paper tape at the joint. Never use fiber mesh tape in lieu of paper tape.
To provide dry wall partition thickness as per table. Also provide 610 mm C/C Gypserra framing metal , serrated type to get optimum strength.
T-joint & L-joint dry wall partition metal framing details to be followed to avoid cracks at joint.
Dry wall partition & Ceiling: Always to construct gypsum ceiling followed by dry wall partition w/o face lamination on wall. The dry wall face lamination should provided till ceiling level after construction of false ceiling to avoid cracks at the junction of ceiling & wall.
Ceiling : Always provide gyproc shadow line bid at the joint of dissimilar material i.e. aluminum angle & gypsum ceiling to avoid crack.
Always divide two segment of laminates at the top of the crack point as marked in case cracks developed like such nature.
